Where to wear
This outfit is so versatile and can be worn for shopping, meeting friends and work. To smarten it up, simply switch the jumper for a blouse and add some jewels.
Recreate the look
The famous pink Zara coat; I was lucky to get my hands on this. I had been hunting for it in the run up to Christmas as my parents said they would treat me to one, but couldn’t find it in my size anywhere. I searched for alternatives, but nothing compared – they were all a brighter pink. I found it once I stopped looking; it was hiding on the sale rail on Boxing Day
I wear this coat every single day, but my favourite look for it is as seen above. A black skater skirt from George teamed with the thickest denier tights you can get your hands on! I get mine from Primark for £2.50 and they are 200 denier, meaning they make your legs look super skinny whilst keeping you warm this cold January. You can wear long boots or pumps with this, but I love black suede wedge ankle boots (again, Primark have these for around £12). That little bit of heel makes the outfit really ladylike.
I add a baby pink eyelash jumper. You can get it here from Select for £10. It’s so warm and cosy, plus it looks really on trend and the pink gives a beautiful feminine touch that compliments the coat.
Finally, the Celine bag. I purchased this one from TK Maxx for £14.99 years ago, so I was glad to see the design become a big hit in AW13. It’s stylish and ladylike and fits in everything a woman could possibly need
Total outfit cost: Around £120
