We all have days when we feel a bit drab. Here are my tips to looking and feeling fabulous and sexy with minimal effort.
Be super confident
It’s so important to act confident; it changes the way you carry yourself and is much more charismatic than simply being attractive. It’s okay if you don’t feel it – you can fake it! Just smile lots, walk with your head held high and most importantly feel good about yourself from the inside and it will show on the outside.
Wear pencil skirts
I’m all for wearing revealing clothes occasionally on a night out, but wearing clothes that don’t show too much flesh are often sexier – it leaves men open to imagination. Pencil skirts are fab for this. I love the ones from Select fashion because they are so comfortable and stretchy (and only about £8!). Team these with a fluffy jumper and some ankle boots to feel instantly yummy!
Choose sexy underwear, for everyday wear
I’m a sucker for underwear; always have been. As I have a bit of OCD though I must match my bra to my pants….and match the underwear to my outfit too! Maybe that’s going a bit too far, but indulging in a lacy matching set and wearing it on an ordinary day will instantly boost your confidence. Make sure you get fitted too so you are wearing something really flattering.
Shoes, shoes, shoes
Gorgeous shoes make every woman feel special. These days you don’t have to spend a small fortune for a pair of new ones. I love New Look and Primark for their shoes as they are on trend and affordable. I’ve never been good in heels, but just a slight heel or wedge will do the trick. Adding heels to a classic blue jeans and T-Shirt will make all the difference to the outfit and to you.
Chop those locks
A bit of a cliche but having a new haircut makes you feel fab. Whether it’s a trim and treatment to nourish those locks or a completely new look like I did last year, it will make you feel like a new person. Plus, the compliments you receive will make you feel good…and if you feel good you look good.
