It’s that funny time of year again, where the weather is still chilly and rainy yet all the stunning Spring clothes and footwear hit the stores. There you are buying cute floral dresses and ballet pumps, then you get home to realise you won’t be able to wear them for quite some time. But there are ways you can get a Spring in your step in February!
Chelsea boots have long been in fashion – a timeless classic – but AW13 saw a big comeback. I bought the above ones from Topshop a few weeks ago in the sale for £20 reduced from £65! I couldn’t resist these as I know they will go with anything, any season. For Spring, I will team these with tights and a cute floral dress. They look equally good with leggings, denim and chunky knits.
My second find was in Dorothy Perkins and are so versatile. With an on trend wedge heel and material leg which fit snug to your legs keeping your shape. Although these are black, which can be associated with winter, I wear these with a pop of colour and finish with a black leather jacket or black handbag. Wedge knee high boots look gorgeous with shorter skirts and shorts with tights, and these ones in particular won’t feel too warm as they are made of a thin material rather than leather.
So, get yourself into the stores now ladies for some bargain boots. I always buy classic footwear at this time of year from the previous season as it’s so, so cheap and they will take you into Spring and ready for the next Autumn too.
