Top Make-Up Colour Trends
0There are sooooo many new products, colours and textures of make-up on the market it’s hard to choose what to go for. Obviously, it is advisable to choose colours which suit your hair and eye colour and skin tone, but there’s surely one of the below colour trends to suit…
30 Beauty Tips Learnt in 30 Years
1
I am now officially 30 years old, although I feel 24! I’ve been using make-up and picking up tips and advice for over 16 years now so thought this would be a great opportunity for me to share some of the things i’ve learnt along the way with you all.
Gel Nails at Home
3Did you know it’s now cheap and easy to create salon nails at home? A couple of years ago I bought a Rio gel UV nail kit from Argos for about £70 (which is still in perfect working condition) and have been created beautiful nails at home ever since.
Pretend you’re a Pro with ArtPro Nail Printer
0Wow, this is truly amazing! I have just come across a new piece of technology that has hit the states (CES 2011 Las Vegas). The ArtPro Nail Printer. This clever piece of kit prints all kinds of intricate designs, quickly and easily.
When At Home use WAH!
0(get it?)
So, I have always been fascinated with nail art and have spent many Sunday afternoons trying to master the art. I have often relied on nail stickers and gems as painting delicate designs was so hard to do with my left hand! Until now….
Six Sultry Shades from Models Own
0Since way before Christmas, I’ve been dying to get my paws on six new shades of nail polish from Models Own. The wintery, sexy colours are: Grace Green, Purple Ash, Becca’s Brown, Purple Grey, Pray and Nude Beige.
They are the most luscious shades i’ve seen at a very affordable £20 per set. The green is the most unusual and I have not seen any other colour on the high street like this; it will be perfect with dark denim jeans and camel winter knits and lightly tanned skin. The other colours are subtle shades of greige, brown, purple and grey and all compliment an array of skintones from palest of pale to tanned or black skins.
These are the fashion must have nails for beginning of 2011. They compliment all the styles seen in Look magazine and ASOS.com.
Try these today girls! They last days and days, are shiny, unique and always gain comments from admirers.

6Hello everyone…
I want to see all your nail art! I have painted my nails for years trying out different colours and styles. My most recent design is a simple white bow on a French manicure.
What’s your favourite and what will you be wearing on your nails this Autumn/Winter?
Bourjois Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection

You’ve gotta love, love, love this new range from Bourjois!
This is their new Autumn/Winter collection which is full of rich, warm shades like greige, mushroom and gold.
I was drawn to this in Superdrug last night as it was on 3 for 2…meaning I could try all 3 products for about a tenner – bargain!
Models Own 50% Facebook Sale. . . do you like?
1
I have recently discovered Models Own products through searching for them online and on social networking sites; such as their Facebook page. I have seen quite a few adverts in magazines shouting about their nail polish which is a steal at only £5 each and comes in 89 stunning, on-trend colours, so I just had to go out and buy some!
If you purchase the nail polish on their website you can save £7 by buying 5 at the same time (that’s only £18 for a new nail colour every day of the working week!). But….even better than that…Models Own will hold a 50% sale across all their products on their website! But we all need to ‘like’ them on their Facebook page so they reach 10,000 fans before the sale will start! What a great way of engaging fans and getting the word out there huh? Well, I just love a bargain so was sure to become a fan of theirs on Facebook and tell all my friends.
Revlon Grey Suede Nail Polish
2After recently entering a Revlon Facebook competition, I was lucky enough to win one of their newest on trend nail colours – grey suede.
The colour is a mix between grey and beige; very Chanel Particulière at a fraction of the cost. The shade is lighter than the other nude and grey colours on the market so is much more wearable for work and during the day if you want a natural look.
Matte Finish Nail Top Coat
0Last weekend I discovered an amazing new finish for my nails – matte top coat. I purchased my Rimmel edition at £4.49 in Boots (currently on 3 for 2).
The transformation from gloss to matte is almost instant – the product looks shiny as you apply it to allow you to see where you’ve covered. It dries very quickly and has kept my nail art in place, and matte, for over 6 days now.
The finish is so natural and very on trend. Why not share your pics here?
