Magic Ink

Well, I have tried many liquid eyeliners over the years and settled for the Barry M one which has been great for everyday use, but am constantly searching for a better alternative. So, I was over the moon when Benefit sent me their black Magic Ink to try.

This is by far the easiest and most long-wearing eyeliner I have ever tried.

I was apprehensive at first glance, purely because I prefer a felt tip for ease of application and this was a thin brush (which looked fairly similar to the MAC liquid last liner; which I was thoroughly disappointed in). However, I wiped off the excess and started to apply. There was enough liner on the brush to enable me to carry out a whole swoop from inner to outer corner, yet not too much that it would create smudges or an uneven line.

Surprisingly, this lasted all day too (around 10 hours without fade) and there was not a smudge in sight – something i’ve yet to find in all the eyeliners I’ve tried.

Overall, you will not be disappointed in purchasing this product as it is easy to apply and very long lasting.
