You Cheeky Mink

After trying and loving the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Fashions Night Pout, I was excited to receive a sample of the darker version…Mink.

This luxurious lipstick feels so moisturising and lasts hours. The colour is more ‘brown’ than nude and I was a little nervous to try it but it is gorgeous!

The lipstick is part of the Revlon A/W 2010 ‘Suede Rhapsody’ Collection created by Gucci Westman.

It goes really well with a flawless, high coverage foundation and black liquid eyeliner…not much else. If you feel you need some colour to your cheeks, just apply a small amount of peach/bronze across the cheekbones.

This is a totally different look and I am yet to find anything on the high street like it. The lipstick gives a nude kinda 90′s feel and looks great with crisp clothing such as a cream/white lace top and dark jeggings.

There really isn’t much press about this and I feel it’s under-rated. You can buy it for under a tenner in Boots or Superdrug.

One to watch out for this Spring as people get braver in trying new darker shades.
