Sheer Sleeves
During one of my weekly shopping trips to the amazing Primark, I discovered a stunning little cream dress amongst the rails of autumn items. I was drawn to it because it was a dress with long sleeves which I thought would keep me warm and look quiet classy. I picked up a size 8 to try on…
As I wandered to the other dresss section, a couple of girls around my age picked up the same dress and started mocking it! I listened as they talked about the fact it had no shape, and the long sleeves which looked ‘silly’. I sniggered to myself knowing that this was a great find and people just didn’t know it yet!
So here’s a photo of the lovely dress…
It’s a clean, cream colour and is quite weighty in the material. I liked the gold trim, thinking it would look great on a holiday evening with a subtle tan. My favourite part has to be the sleeves. It’s hard to find long sleeved dresses, and what I particularly like about this one is the sheer sleeves. It looks fantastic on…very classy.
There isn’t much shape to it but it sits lovely on the bust and just drops; leaving you with a lovely A-line shape which reaches your knees.
This is an absolute bargain at £11 too!
I’ve since seen numerous articles in Look magazine talking about the new trend of sheer sleeves for this Autumn Winter. I instantly thought of the girls mocking this dress and felt smug!
