Just the part (ing)!
I’ve been working with Scott Beszick Hairdressing for a few years now. I first visited Scott sporting an on trend ‘pob’ which was the shortest haircut i’d ever had. I just couldn’t get used to it and wanted it long, fast!
Two years down the line, and I now have the hair that I have dreamt of for years. Long, thick with lots of movement. This is all thanks to Scott. He has transformed my short bob to this through ever-changing styles that have always been on trend and suited to my face and style.
I’ve had a full fringe for as long as I can remember, but Scott has been telling me to grow it out for a while. I gave in about 12 weeks ago, knowing he is always right and will recommend the best style to suit me. Growing my fringe for the first 6 weeks or so was very annoying for me! I didn’t know which side to part it or whether to clip it back…grrr! However, I managed to be patient and held out for my next appointment.
Scott introduced me to a centre parting, to which I initially thought, nooooo! After showing me the catwalk looks for Autumn Winter (see example below) I had to agree this was a look I wanted to try. I haven’t had a centre parting since the 90′s and wasn’t sure whether this would suit me or not, especially as I am used to hiding behind a fringe. The trick is girls, to add lots of volume and not straighten like we did in the 90′s. You’ll see from the photo’s below, the look is flowing and wavy with lots of volume and natural movement.
This is my fringe about 17 weeks from being short and full, and I think it’ll take another 8 or so to grow out a little more into the cut.
What do you think girls….are you gonna turn from fringe to centre parting this Autumn/Winter?
